This album is amazing because all the songs that are played acoustically sound better acoustically than they do regularly. It offers a mix of inspirational and upbeat music that all tie back into the theme of the album: believing. Bieber has been in the music business for a fairly long time. He was founded on YouTube by a man named Scooter. Scooter found Justin and made him famous. With the help of his family, Scooter, and famous singer, Usher, Justin Bieber became a huge star. Bieber has come out with many albums. Such as My World and Believe. Justin Bieber’s first really big hit was his song â€Å"Baby† from the My World album. One of his more recent hits was the song â€Å"Beauty and a Beat.† This album is different from others because almost all the songs on the album are played acoustically and without any tuning or adjustment to his voice. This album has all different kinds of music on it, but all of the songs tie back into the main theme of Believing. Bieber did a great job of making the album catchy, fun and inspirational to his listeners. A big factor in making this album a hit was Bieber’s lyrics. They flow nicely with the song and really make the listener believe. Although all the songs on the album are great, the songs â€Å"Beauty and a Beat† and â€Å"Fall† really stands out. These three songs are wonderful because the guitar in the songs really stands out and sounds cool. Every album has that one song that just isn’t very good. For Bieber’s Believe (acoustic) album it is a song called â€Å"Yellow Raincoat.† Yellow Raincoat doesn’t have a good beat and doesn’t fit in with the other songs. This album is much better than others in it pop genre because of the uniqueness of most of the songs being played acoustically. The Believe (acoustic) album is an amazing album that has a great theme and inspiring songs. It uniqueness really brings the album to another level. The authoritative parents are assertive and not restrictive or intrusive on their children and their disciplinary techniques are not punitive but rather supportive. There are two theories that explain the childrens behavior and they include; Albert Banduras social learning theory, which states that the child learns its behavior by observing other people and this theory, is applicable to both maladaptive and adaptive behaviors. The second theory is the Scotts critical period theory, which implies that the childs behavior is molded during the ages between 0-6 years, which are the critical years i n a childs growth cycle. The use of set rules and procedures are also highly effective in molding the childs behavior even though they vary from one person to another. This encompasses being assertive, caring and well balanced (Baumrind, 2005).Children who come from authoritative parents usually develop a sense of self-control, confidence in themselves and an understanding of right and wrong. An authoritative adult recognizes the different stages of childhood development, teaches a child according to their level of understanding, has realistic expectations, sets fair rules and consequence, and gives a child room to grow and learn (Maccoby Martin, 1983). The parents who use this parenting style set guidelines and rules that their children are expected to follow. Based on experience, authoritarian is the worst form of parenting because it is the most emotionally and psychologically damaging. Children who have parents that are authoritarians usually spend their childhood and adolescence years fearful of their authoritarian parent, have limited confidence in themselves and are often degraded or put down. Most parents that only look at structure and discipline, who classify themselves as authoritarians are in my opinion selfish. Regarding permissive, it is the most irresponsible style of parenting. A parent who is permissive will have children who misbehave and act out because they are not disciplined and taught manners. These children will have temper tantrums and will be unhappy every time they do not get their way. Permissive parents do not recognize the importance of following through the behavior of their children with consequences to teach a lesson. Often, children from permissive families are not guided enough and will have to find out the hard way. In a general way we can say that most of the times, the adults try to control their childrens behavior. During the 17th century, children were perceived to have a blank slate, it was the duty of the guardians, and the parents/adults to mould them so that they could behave well thus meeting their adults need. On the contrary, presently the new philosophies dictate that the children should be given their freedom to grow as they interact with the environment around them. Religion has played a key role in accomplishing this, stipulating the role played by the guardians and the children on their expected behavior. A childs behavior could be positive, acceptable, or adaptive in relation to the existing situation whereas others are thought to be maladaptive, negative, and unsuitable. Most of this maladaptive behavior provides a great challenge on the adults within the society (Baumrind, 1991). Different families have set rules and standards on their expectations for their childrens behavior. Similarly, the use of set rules and procedures are highly effective in molding the childs behavior even though they vary from one person to another. On the other hand, in the prevention of a childs disruptive behavior, the adult should build up structures, which set the acceptable expected behavior. The child needs to be taken through the desired procedures by the adult, while the stated rules appropriate, air with consequences thereof in relation to the childs behavior (Maccoby Martin, 1983).The adult should build a good relationship with the child with the existence of mutual respect between them. The adults need to thank the children so as to maintain their appropriate behavior as well as commend them when they behave as expected. Appreciating the child prompts them to keep behaving in the right way, so that they can be always appreciated. The use of reinforcement also plays a major role in the molding of a childs behavior and the reinforcement should be specific, vary, and needed.

All living things need each other to survive. We need the trees to breathe, they need us to produce CO2 for photosynthesis, and they also need the worms to cultivate the land for rich soil. Hence, we could imply that we need the worms to breathe. It’s more than that, though. The whole concept of biology, or even science, revolves around the intricate connections between all of its aspects. We need to understand biodiversity to understand our connections to all living things. In order to understand biodiversity we need to use systematics. In order to understand systematics we need to understand taxonomy, phylogeny, evolution and all the other parts. Every part of who we are is saturated in everything around us and yet we do not even try to take the time to absorb a drop of it. Despite the fact that we consider ourselves to be the most intelligent of the species living on this planet today, our egos and independence, our ignorance and manipulation, allow the understanding of our very existence on this earth to pass us by. Do Political Parties Help or Hurt America Essay

Political parties have been in America since the very inception of the country. Political parties were originally designed to give voice to a group of people’s interests. But as the time has passed, the ideas being presented has been growing less about the people and more about the power and the longevity of the party and the people controlling it. The people are not voting for the candidate that they think will represent them the best but for the D or the R that appears on the side of the name. Should this be the main thing we look to when deciding the leaders of our government? The issue that people take with the concept and general structure of the modern day political parties is the reality of its inability to effectively govern with its supporters. The state must not be usurped by side interests or used as a means of dictating unpopular – or even popular – laws. In today’s parliamentary and representative republics, it is the power behind the party, not necessarily the party itself that decides policy. The question is, in today’s capitalistic world, will it be the people or the economic and financial advisers that hold the Party keys? Undoubtedly, it must be the people. However, here we encounter the question of how large a role any particular political party must take within the ideally reconstructed and redefined state. Let’s not forget: the state is but a temporary structure devised and built by Man. It is little more than the regulatory body that encompasses the concept of the political party. As such, it stands to be reformed – or, in certain cases, overhauled – by the parties that reside within it. What the people behind the Party must do, is make sure that their needs and necessary wants be taken up by the Party itself. This is but one aspect of the political party; my concern lies in the eventual – and it would happen eventually – fostering of a broader party â€Å"cult of personality†. Examples of this can be seen from the U. S. to Asia, from Europe to S. America and Africa. When the people begin to support the idealized face of party politics more so than the spirit of the individual, they resign themselves to the dictatorship of the governmental coalition. Instances of these can be seen in America’s dual-party political system, as well as in certain European states. In essence, the Party becomes little more than a modified form of political and social dictatorship. I would argue that while political parties have their place within society, their role and importance should be greatly isolated and/or minimalized. They should be nothing more than mouthpieces for the people who make up their constituency; as a legislative and governing body, their role must be subjected to the democratic will of the people they represent. I would propose a â€Å"Democracy from the bottom up† instead of the more recognized â€Å"Democracy from the top down†. Because living in a government with no freedom, is a fate worse than death!
